That’s why we’re proud to be part of the Health Insurance Fund of Australia (HIF) Choice Network, a program designed to give HIF members more value and greater peace of mind when attending our practice.
The Smile CollectiveWhat is the HIF Choice Network?
The HIF Choice Network is a provider network being established by HIF, whereby dental practices agree to provide certain preventive dental services at no-out-of-pocket (“no-gap”) expense for eligible HIF members.
Key features include:
- Eligible HIF members receive 100% back (no-gap) on up to two visits per year for check-ups, cleans and other preventive dental services when seen at a Choice Network provider.
- The network operates on the basis of agreed maximum chargeable amounts for those listed preventive services, so that HIF members and providers both have clarity on the fees involved.
- Being part of the network does not prevent members from visiting non-network providers; however the “no-gap” benefit only applies when they see a Choice Network provider.
